Aali Payam Medical Engineering Company was established in 1995 as the first and only manufacturer of phacoemulsification and vitrectomy ophthalmic surgical devices in Iran and the Middle East, with the aim of localizing high-tech products. The company began its activities in collaboration with a number of leading ophthalmology specialists and experienced biomedical engineering experts, with the objective of designing and manufacturing ophthalmic equipment and accessories, and was recognized as one of the first knowledge-based companies in the country.

In the initial stages of its activity, Aali Payam won the Third Prize for Creativity at the 10th Khwarizmi International Festival and the Sheikh Baha’i Entrepreneurship Award for the design and production of a vitrectomy device. The production, supply, and export of various ophthalmic products in compliance with the latest accredited European standards (CE), along with the expert selection and importation of certain high-quality products and brands from around the world—such as various lasers, ultrasonography devices, imaging systems, and consumable and clinical materials—have contributed to the company’s strong reputation and credibility in this field.

Currently, Aali Payam comprises highly qualified and trained specialists, experienced engineers, R&D personnel, production line staff, marketing and sales teams, as well as administrative personnel, creating employment opportunities for dozens of individuals.
