The “Iranian Medical Equipment Exporters Association” was established in 2010 as an independent legal and financial entity, non-political and non-profit, in accordance with Clause “K” of Article 5 of the Law on the Formation of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, as well as Article 5 of the Law on Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment. The Association was founded with the approval and supervision of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, with an unlimited operational duration and nationwide scope

In 2020, the Association was renamed the Iranian Association of Medical Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters

Today, more than 140 companies active in the production and export of medical, dental, laboratory, orthopedic, and related equipment are proud members of this Association
